Greek wine will be present at this year's London Wine Fair on May 20-22
The 42nd London Wine Fair is expected to be highly impressive, with the presence of countries like South Africa returning as exhibitors and Asia participating for the first time, acknowledging the significant impact LWF has on the UK’s consumer market.
All the new challenges of the wine industry will be presented in numerous speeches, masterclasses, tastings, and various activities to showcase innovative trends and new products.
During the exhibition, the Wine Buyers Awards will be presented, with Enterprise Greece being the official sponsor, an institution inaugurated in 2020 to recognize the best wine buyers in the United Kingdom.
RECO Exports, as a Food & Drink Export-Marketing Agency based in London, is engaged in the development of Food & Beverage exports and contributes to the proper promotion of Greek brands abroad. It also serves as the exclusive representative in Greece and Cyprus for very important Agricultural and Food Exhibitions worldwide, one of which is LWF, which it has represented for the last decade.
Having a full understanding of the British market and aiming for Greek wine to gain a large share, as the ground is particularly fertile and industry professionals are constantly seeking new and unique varieties, RECO Exports supports exhibitors to the maximum by promoting their brand, indicating the most suitable way to penetrate the British market after market and competition research, and creating a network of contacts with buyers, distributors, and wholesalers.
This year, 37 wineries are participating at the National Pavilion, supported by the Regions of Central Macedonia, Crete, Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, and Sterea Ellada, as well as independent participations.
This year, RECO Exports has also scheduled a unique masterclass by Demetri Walters MW titled “Greece – an authentic modern classic,” aiming to convey to the UK’s consumer market the evolution and superiority of Greek wine, proving that today it is better than ever!
Additionally, a Free Tasting Area and Wine Bar will operate during the three-day exhibition, with over 60 labels, coordinated by a team of Wine Experts with intense activity in the on-trade and off-trade market of the UK.
