London Wine Fair 2024: The Excellence of Greek Wine Will Be Present at This Year's Event
The London Wine Fair, one of the largest wine exhibitions globally, with over 13,000 British professional visitors from the food and beverage industry, will take place from May 20th to 22nd at the Olympia Exhibition Center in London.
The 42nd London Wine Fair is expected to be highly impressive, with the presence of countries such as South Africa returning as exhibitors and Asia participating for the first time, recognizing the significant impact the LWF has on the purchasing audience of the United Kingdom. All the new challenges of the wine industry will be presented in a multitude of speeches, masterclasses, tastings, and various activities to showcase innovative trends and new products.
During the exhibition, the Wine Buyers Awards will be presented, sponsored by Enterprise Greece, an institution established in 2020 to recognize the best wine buyers in the United Kingdom.
RECO Exports, as a Food & Drink Export-Marketing Agency based in London, is involved in the development of Food & Beverage exports and contributes to the proper promotion of Greek brands abroad. At the same time, it serves as the exclusive representative in Greece and Cyprus for significant agricultural and food sector exhibitions worldwide, including the LWF, which it has represented for the past decade.
With full knowledge of the British market and aiming for Greek wine to gain a large share, RECO Exports supports exhibitors to the maximum by promoting their brand, indicating the most suitable way to penetrate the British market through market research and competition, and creating a network of contacts with buyers, distributors, and wholesalers. This year, 37 wineries are participating in the National Pavilion, supported by the Regions of Central Macedonia, Crete, Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, and Central Greece, as well as independent participations.
This year, RECO Exports has also scheduled a unique masterclass by Demetri Walters MW titled “Greece – an authentic modern classic,” aiming to convey to the UK purchasing audience the evolution and superiority of Greek wine, proving that today it is better than ever!
Additionally, a Free Tasting Area and Wine Bar will operate during the three-day exhibition, featuring over 60 labels, coordinated by a team of Wine Experts with significant activity in the on-trade and off-trade market of the UK.
