Swedish entrepreneurs at the Larissa Chamber of Commerce tasting event – ERTNEWS

Nine Swedish entrepreneurs, major importers and wholesalers, were in Larissa as part of a business mission. The Scandinavian business representatives held discussions with representatives from 18 local companies, while the management of the Larissa Chamber of Commerce hosted a business dinner to explore potential collaboration opportunities.

During the evening, each of the Swedish guests was introduced, and their business activities were discussed in detail. The President of the Chamber of Commerce, Sotiris Giannakopoulos, emphasized the outward-looking nature of the organization, which has been strongly supported by its current management over the years. He highlighted the efforts to promote and strengthen initiatives both abroad and domestically.

The President of the Chamber also emphasized the following: “As a Chamber, we are targeting the North, which is wealthy, has purchasing power, and seeks Mediterranean products.”

He added, “During this term, initiatives such as welcoming foreign business delegations to our city have been implemented before, particularly in the dairy sector (with feta cheese importers) in the pre-COVID era.”
