Washington State Wine: Exports to the UK Increased by 36% with the contribution of RECO EXPORTS

From June 2019 to July 2020, RECO EXPORTS took the lead in marketing for exports and trade in the United Kingdom, representing over 1000 wineries from the state of Washington.

Among its responsibilities were Public Relations (PR) management, marketing, and advertising, while also organizing press tastings. Additionally, thanks to RECO’s extensive experience, it managed export and trade relationships between British importers and distributors. As a result of targeted actions, there was an increase in exports of “Washington Wines” to the UK in 2019, while over 3.5 million impressions were generated on social media through PR activations and publications in trade and consumer media.

Furthermore, the first significant listing was achieved in the major supermarket chain Waitrose for a winery from Washington. With the presence of over 400 trade representatives and media representatives, a record of participation was recorded at the major wine tasting event in London.
