Bites of Greece: Greek Products Travel to London

More than 60 businesses operating in the food and beverage sector are participating in Bites of Greece, the first initiative to showcase and promote Greek products in the United Kingdom in the post-Brexit era, organized by Reco Exports.

The goal of Bites of Greece is to highlight, promote, and showcase the artisanal, organic, free-from, and vegan aspects of Greece, featuring award-winning and innovative Greek products in the UK. The initiative includes three targeted actions:

  1. Creation of a “Bites of Greece” shelf for participating companies in one of London’s most popular delicatessens, Partridges, renowned since 1975 for its unique and premium products (May 31 – June 21).
  2. Operation of the Bites of Greece pop-up store in Islington, one of London’s wealthiest neighborhoods with a strong community and a popular destination for London foodies, featuring many unique wine bars, bistros, restaurants, bars, theaters, and other entertainment options. The pop-up store will function both as a delicatessen and as a showroom & tasting space with various parallel events (June 16 – July 13).
  3. Promotion, marketing, and sales of products at a Bites of Greece stand at the famous Truman Brewery’s Upmarket on Brick Lane, one of the trendy and talked-about areas in East London, known for attracting famous personalities from all fields (July 3 – 25).

Bites of Greece is organized by RECO Exports and Murphy London Communications, with the support of Enterprise Greece, the Greek embassy in the United Kingdom, and the Hellenic-British Chamber of Commerce, as well as the regions of Attica, Central Macedonia, Central Greece, Epirus, and the Ionian Islands.
