Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of reco.co.uk. By using the site you accept them.

1. About these terms
These terms of use tell you the rules for using our website. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only. They do not govern any commercial relationship with RECO. Distribution, brokerage, representation, market entry and event services are provided under separate written agreements, and nothing on this website forms an offer or a contract.
Editorial note – Worth keeping this paragraph prominent. It is the sentence that stops a prospective client arguing that a service page constituted an offer, and it is also the point at which someone will ask whether RECO has a standard terms of business. If it does not, that is a bigger gap than any of these four pages.
2. Who we are and how to contact us
reco.co.uk is operated by RECO Exports Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 10717374, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is GB275887440. To contact us, email projects@reco.co.uk.
Editorial note – If RECO Exports Ltd is not VAT registered, delete the VAT sentence rather than leaving it blank. These four lines also satisfy the Companies Act trading disclosure requirement, so the footer only needs a short “Legal” line pointing here.
3. We may change these terms and the site
We amend these terms from time to time. Check this page when you use the site – the terms in force are those posted here. We may update, suspend or withdraw the site, or any part of it, without notice.
4. Using our site
We make the site available free of charge. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or uninterrupted. You are responsible for arranging your own access and for making sure that anyone accessing the site through your connection is aware of these terms.
5. Our intellectual property
We own or license all intellectual property rights in the site and in the material published on it, including text, photography, film, illustration, layout and design. These works are protected by copyright and related rights.
You may print and download extracts for your own use and may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material on the site. You must not modify copies, use illustrations, photographs, video or graphics separately from the accompanying text, or use any part of the site for commercial purposes without a licence from us. Our status as authors must always be acknowledged.
RECO and the RECO device are trade marks of RECO Exports Ltd. Third-party names, logos and trade marks appearing on the site remain the property of their respective owners and are used with permission.

We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising from use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on any content on it. In particular we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss.
We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack or other technologically harmful material that may infect your equipment through your use of the site or of any site linked to it.
9. Prohibited use
You must not misuse the site by knowingly introducing viruses or other harmful material, attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server on which it is stored or any connected server, or attacking the site by means of a denial-of-service attack. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will cooperate with them.
You must not use any part of the content on the site for commercial purposes without a licence from us, systematically extract material from the site, or establish a link in a way that suggests any form of association, approval or endorsement where none exists.
10. Governing law
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident in Greece or another EU member state, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
