As part of Greek Nordic & Baltic Trade, RECO Exports has set up a “Greek shelf” called Flavours of Greece in five ICA stores, Sweden’s largest food chain, opening-up the market to potentially 1,300 stores.
Also, five urban restaurants in Greater Stockholm added Greek wines to their wine lists, introducing that way Greek wines to their audience.

Greek Nordic & Baltic Trade is an innovative export activity that aims at the promotion and awareness of Greek Food and Drinks in the Nordic market.
Greek Nordic & Baltic took place in 2021 with great success. More than 50 Greek producers of conventional, organic, Free-From, Vegan and natural products participated with the support of the Regions of Attica, Central Macedonia, Epirus and Central Greece.

Wine Tasting Event
As part of Greek Nordic & Baltic Trade, a wine tasting event was held at the internationally renowned Winebar & Bistrot “The Sparrow” of the Sparrow Hotel boutique, which bears the stamp of the famous chef Mathias Dahlgren in Sweden. During the tasting, five white and five red Greek wines were tasted by some of the most important players in the Swedish wine scene, such as wine magazine publishers, critics and columnists, sommelier, restaurant manager and industry professionals who had the opportunity to meet the ten labels of the wineries Zoinos from Epirus, Moschopolis from Central Macedonia and Karadimou, Muses and Tzivani from Central Greece.
Food Tasting Events
As part of the Greek Nordic & Baltic Trade action, 5 closed Tasting Events were held at the ICA stores that hosted Greek products. The events were attended by food professionals such as buyers, distributors and caterers of the partner ICA stores, who had the opportunity to get to know the Greek products that participated in the action through tasting. Also, during the action, 8 tasting events were held for consumers who answered a series of questions giving feedback on the packaging, price and taste of the products.
