E. Tzortzoglou: Honoring Greek Gastronomy in London from the British Master Chef
With great joy and enthusiasm, we welcome the award-winning Greek chef Eirini Tzortzoglou, winner of the UK Masterchef 2019, to the inaugural event of the Bites of Greece initiative taking place in London from June 31st to July 31st, 2021.
Eirini presents the richness of Greek agri-food products participating in Bites of Greece and will captivate the British consumer audience for 2 months through an informative video she has shared on social media.
The beloved and award-winning chef has authored books on Greek cuisine, collaborates with restaurants, teaches cooking classes, and leverages her strong online presence to promote the quality and value of Greek gastronomy, aiming to promote it internationally.
With her well-known passion for Greek products and the producers of the new generation of organic, natural, and handmade foods and beverages, she presented all the product categories participating in this year’s Bites of Greece, as well as the locations where these products will be available for tasting and purchase.
“The first stop of Bites of Greece,” Eirini mentioned, “is the delicatessen store chain ‘Partridges,’ specifically the Sloane Square store, where from May 31st until late July, the British public has the opportunity to discover, taste, and purchase over 500 Greek products showcased at Partridges.”
The journey of Bites of Greece continues with the placement of innovative Greek products at the Pop Up Store in the Islington area starting June 16th and continuing for a month. The initiative concludes with the distribution of products at the Truman Brewery’s Upmarket food market, located in the Brick Lane neighborhood, where Bites of Greece will have stands for 4 consecutive weekends during July.
We sincerely thank Eirini for her spontaneous and warm presentation of Bites of Greece and invite all of you to keep up with the news of the initiative through our website and social media channels.
