With steady progress towards establishing the Peloponnese as one of Europe’s leading adventure and experiential tourism destinations, AdventureWeek Peloponnese 2026 (4–13 May 2026) is set to become the most significant event of the year for the adventure travel industry. Held under the auspices of the Region of Peloponnese and the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), the event will bring some of the world’s most influential adventure travel professionals to Greece.

Inspiring Routes and Authentic Experiences
The programme features two carefully designed itineraries – the East Route and the West Route – covering more than 1,400 kilometres of breathtaking landscapes, cultural treasures and authentic local experiences across the Peloponnese.
Sea Kayaking in Ancient Epidaurus – Participants will explore the famous “Sunken City,” paddling above remarkably preserved Roman ruins beneath crystal-clear waters.
Hiking Along Historic Trails – From the renowned Menalon Trail in Arcadia to the slopes of Mount Taygetus and the traditional village of Ampeliona, visitors will experience some of Greece’s most remarkable walking routes.
Cultural Heritage Experiences – The programme includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Mystras, where the official closing ceremony will take place.
Adventure Activities – Participants will enjoy rafting on the Lousios River, rock climbing in Leonidio, and cycling through olive groves, coastal landscapes and historic castle settings.
